Wayne Richards

President and
Chief Executive Officer

Wayne Richards has 28 years of experience throughout the oilfield services sector, currently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of Global. Previously he was Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Vetco International Limited after spending 25 years in a number of senior operational, and sales and marketing positions with Schlumberger including: Vice President of Well Completions, Testing and Artificial Lift Systems for North and South America; Vice President Sales and Marketing, Well Completions and Productivity; Vice President/General Manager of US Land Operations; and Director of Personnel for North America Wireline Operations.

Richards currently serves on the Texas Tech University College of Engineering Dean’s Council and Petroleum Engineering Advisory Board, and previously held executive leadership roles in The Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association and Spindletop International. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mining engineering from West Virginia University.

Stuart Spence

Executive Vice President
and Chief Financial Officer

Stuart Spence has 17 years of financial experience in the oil and gas industry. Most recently, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Green Rock Energy, LLC. Prior to that position, he served as Vice President Finance and Chief Accounting Officer for Vetco International; Director and Group Finance Director for Aibel, Ltd.; and Chief Financial Officer of gas turbines for the Wood Group. Spence began his career with advancing positions at Total Oil Marine, Andersen Consulting and Schlumberger, where he progressed to the position of Global Segment Controller.

Spence brings a wealth of bank financing and mergers and acquisitions experience to Global, having been involved in $5 billion worth of transactions.

Spence earned his Bachelor of Accountancy degree with honors from Stirling University in Scotland, and also attended the Columbia Business School.
